I LOVE this app and live by it!!! Every so often, something jams the signal. This may be beyond the app, but otherwise, I know when a bus is coming and can run an errand, wait inside or walk to a less trafficked stop (with seating) as a result. This has been a gamechanger in riding MTA buses.
